WHEN MEMORY TURNS INTO SOUND highlights the creative works of two Luthiers (guitar makers), Dave and Geoff, and their Mentor/Mentee relationship that spans for 10 years. They work out of a beautiful workshop in the middle of Navarro, CA, close to the coast and Mendocino.

Dave has been making string instruments since 1966 and has mentored and worked beside Geoff since 2014. As Geoff starts to break off and explore his own designs and craft, the future is uncertain for Dave's Legacy.
